In order to enhance employee's awareness of environment, industrial safety and fire control, environmental safety training has been the environment-related activities. To newcomers and all colleagues, Asia Optical continuously provides environmental protection, industrial safety, fire control training in the hope of making contribution to the environment, ensuring employees's safety by reducing accidents and occupational injuries. The goal we are always pursuing is to minimize the injuries and loss by ensuring fire control procedures come into effect once emergency occurs.
Externally :
To take social responsibilities, guarantee contractors' and employees' security, enhance suppliers concept of environmental protection, minimize environmental pollution, industrial accidents and occupational injuries, Asia Optical provides training courses to contractors and suppliers to strengthen their recognition of environmental protection, safety and hygiene. cording to participants, the courses could be divided into general environmental safety knowledge training and professional training.
General environmental safety knowledge training.
Participants: newcomers, operators who handle special tasks, contractors, green partners (suppliers)
Professional training (This training aims at those who are in particular positions.)
Participants: Fire controller manager, first-aid personnel, organic solution handlers, specified chemical substances handlers, powder handling supervisor, limited space operation supervisor, fixed forklift operator, mobile forklift operator, , high pressure gas equipment operator are provided professional skills and training for safety, hygiene and environmental protection .
Newcomer training:
A series of training courses are arranged by Human Resource dept. The courses include basic environment and safety trainings which inculcate new employees the concepts of safety, hygiene and environmental protection, points for attention at work place which enriches new employees' industrial safety awareness as a preventive measure to minimize occupational injuries and accidents.

Statistical analysis of occupational injuries
Asia Optical is advocating safety and hygiene management at work place. Through publication of vocational safety and hygiene concepts and related activities being held, employees are able to implement what they have been inculcated on routine behaviors. Since the company was established, the management team at every level is much concerned with employees' safety, hygiene and environmental protection work. Asia Optical uses employee's injury frequencies and damage degree as the Environmental Safety performance indicator. We work toward the "zero injury rate”goal and continuously promote the environment safety in our factories and manage safety issues closely.
Measurement of operation environment
Asia Optical spares no efforts to advocate safety, hygiene and environmental protection works in the factory. The regulations are in place to prevent accidents from happening. In respect of hazardous and harmful substance management, apart from employee training, Asia Optical also measures CO2 concentration, noise, and chemical substances used in the operation environments and the measurements all conform to the regulation standard.
